Emley Show takes place at Factory Farm, Emley Moor, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire – beside Emley Moor Mast. The showground has travelled across a number of sites in the area of the years, but is now established in its current location beneath the famous television transmitter with amazing views across Yorkshire. It is located only ten minutes from Huddersfield, twenty minutes from Wakefield and within easy driving distance of Leeds, Bradford, York, Sheffield, Manchester and the rest of the north of England. We have a large free car park alongside the showground, plus there is a free bus service from Emley village centre.

From M62 Junction 24 (Ainley Top)

Take the A629 at the roundabout towards Huddersfield/Halifax.
At the next roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A629 for about 2 miles to Huddersfield.
Diverge slight left onto A62 Castlegate which leads to Huddersfield Ring Road.
Continue clockwise along the A62 Castlegate to A62 Southgate for about 0.5 mile.
Go across the roundabout outside Sainsburys on to the A62 Wakefield Road for about 4.5 miles.
Take a right turn onto Paul Lane in Lepton Edge for about 1 mile, passing the Cinnamon Lounge.
Follow the appropriate signs for the Emley Show exhibitor and visitor parking areas.

 

From M1 Junction 38

Take the A637 Huddersfield Road dual carriageway for 5 miles towards Huddersfield.
Go across a roundabout by Yorkshire Sculpture Park and another that crosses Denby Dale Road.
You will drive passed the Black Bull Pub at Midgley and through Flockton village centre.
Take a left turn onto Haigh Lane for 0.5 miles just after the Sun Pub in Flockton.
Continue onto Windmill Hill Lane for a further 0.5 mile and turn right on to Westfield Lane.
Follow the appropriate signs for the Emley Show exhibitor and visitor parking areas.

 

Free Car Park

We encourage public transport, but as the showground is in a rural area, we offer ample free parking in the fields adjacent to the showground with designated disabled parking areas close to the gates. Please be aware that at peak entrance times there may be queues to get into the car park so leave extra time if you need to be there by a certain time.

 

Free Bus Service

To help access to and from the showground there will be a free bus service from Emley Cross. This will leave at hourly intervals from 9am, then half-hourly intervals from 11am. The last return bus leaves the showground at 5.45pm.
